Jay's Graduation

I made this double bed sized quilt for Jay when he graduated U. of Delaware in 2007.  I used an Indian tablecloth for the back of the quilt.  Batiks were used for the front -- all cut in 3-1/2" squares.  It's such an easy quilt to make -- the pieces were chosen not by random but rather I laid them out into a pleasing design, then sewed them together.  Some people like to make this type of quilt by placing the squares in a bag & choosing one by one & sewing, no matter how they look together.  I can't do anything blind like that.  I rather like to see how it will look beforehand.  But that's just me.
