Neutral Quilt

I finished this quilt top -- finally! -- after almost one year -- not working on it continuously for the entire year but still -- I started it a year ago while taking a class at the Mid-Appalachian Quilter's weekend seminar in Maryland.  The pattern is "Italian Tiles" and I used all neutrals.

I'm taking this quilt top to a long-arm machine quilter -- it's just too big (~72" square) for me to machine quilt on my normal sewing machine.  I suppose I could do it -- I just don't feel like wrestling with it.  I'll post again when it's finished being quilted -- could be a month or so until I see it again.

  1. It's beautiful Sue! I love the colour play in this quilt. And the workmanship is fabulous too, just as always.

  4. I love it!! I just visited a museum with tiles and quilts made using tile patterns. Great geometrical shapes. Your quilt should have been there. Rose-Anne
