I had a mad frenzy making headbands -- for three little girls -- bought the yarn (Martha Stewart's acrylic/wool blend) in four colors (bakery box white, lemon, igloo & gerbera daisy) & spent the better part of three days making three headbands plus unique flowers for each one. Adding a Very Cute button in the middle of each flower. I used the book, "Crochet Bouquet" by Cony Larsen for the patterns -- tweaking each flower just a bit to make it my own. I had more fun than a barrel of monkeys making them.
This quilt was started months ago -- inspiration came from looking out the window at the pretty Fall colors on the trees. The quilt started like this:
And finished like this! Just in time for next Fall -- 2013.

The quilt is machine pieced, machine quilted -- & hand quilted around each small square.
