Mesmerize

Finished Mesmerize.  It's striking.  I used the quilt pattern designed by Natalia Bonner & also used some of the same fabrics she used in her quilt -- Basic Grey by Moda.  I loved the look of her quilt so much I didn't want to change it too much.  I also sent it to Natalia in Utah for her to do the long-arm quilting for me -- she did a great job.

It's twin size -- perfect for hanging over the upstairs railing.
That's Bob hidden behind the quilt -- he's the best quilt holder ever!

Close-up of the long-arm machine quilting.

Reverse side of the quilt -- recently I have been buying wide fabric for the backs of quilts -- I'm over the 'piecing the backs to be interesting' mode I was in for years.

Purple Scarf & More

Purple infinity scarf I crocheted for a friend.

A table runner for a gift.

A tote bag to be used with a walker -- made if for a friend.

Teddy squeezing behind the cushion of our newly reupholstered chair.

This could be my new favorite baby quilt to make -- I simply cut strips of varying widths using very cute, retro-inspired fabrics, sewed them all together in a pleasing arrangement & machine quilted 1/4" along both sides of each seam.  Fun, quick & easy to make!

Reverse side of the quilt -- the machine quilting is visible.
