Mesmerize

Finished Mesmerize.  It's striking.  I used the quilt pattern designed by Natalia Bonner & also used some of the same fabrics she used in her quilt -- Basic Grey by Moda.  I loved the look of her quilt so much I didn't want to change it too much.  I also sent it to Natalia in Utah for her to do the long-arm quilting for me -- she did a great job.

It's twin size -- perfect for hanging over the upstairs railing.
That's Bob hidden behind the quilt -- he's the best quilt holder ever!

Close-up of the long-arm machine quilting.

Reverse side of the quilt -- recently I have been buying wide fabric for the backs of quilts -- I'm over the 'piecing the backs to be interesting' mode I was in for years.

  1. What a great quilt pattern. I really like your fabric choices in the quilt, so striking, and it looks perfect hanging from your rail.

  4. This is another fabulous quilt. The way that it's colors and shapes mimic the stone hearth is pure genius. Nice job!
