Kaleidoscope Table Runner

The end of January 2015, I attended a quilt class in New York City at The City Quilter.  The class was given by Paula Nadelstern -- she's famous for her kaleidoscope quilts.
I learned this "60/30" technique.  Using Paula Nadelstern's fabrics (two yards made these six blocks), she taught us how to cut triangles & sew them together to give this kaleidoscope look.
At first glance, the blocks may look the same -- but all six are different.

  1. Stunning! It's amazing how those patterns appear all with the same fabrics.

  2. Thanks, Vreni. It is amazing! Was a lot of fun to make.
